Wow! It's hard to believe that Sesame Street has just turned 40 years old this year! I remember watching the show as a kid and I'd be captivated by the colorful characters on the screen. I think it's great that if it's still on and they change it to adapt to kids nowadays.
Ralph says his favorite character has always been Elmo and he can clearly remember some of the greatest episodes and episodes on everyone's favorite street.
Ralph & Elmo.However, my favorite character is Cookie Monster who notoriously demands cookies and devours everything in sight, an action accompanied by the satisfied sound of 'Om nom nom nom.' Even though I'm a little old for Sesame Street now I still love the furry blue dude!

Well, I may never see Cookie Monster eat a pipe again, but luckily the memories are preserved on DVD, and in my heart. Happy birthday, Sesame Street. Here's to 40 years more!
