Most of you probably already know that I love shopping so much! However, I don't really enjoy grocery shopping. I have no idea how to choose fresh items. How do I know a piece of meat will be tender? How to choose the perfect fish? How to tell if a fish is fresh? I just don't know how, mainly because I don't know how to cook them.
On the other hand, Ralph loves grocery shopping simply because he loves cooking. Whenever we go to the hypermarket, he always carefully select fresh items and I end up walking around like a zombie. (boo-ring!) That being said, he does the grocery shopping and 99 percent of the cooking. So I really can't complain.
Yesterday, while he was busy selecting chicken for dinner, I walked around and I saw this rug which looked lost like me.
My room has no rug at the moment. I want one for my bare feet to land, but have yet to invest in a really nice one. Well, I prefer a custom rug as it is a great way to reflect my style and coordinate the decor I already have in my home. Designing a custom rug with Rug Couture is a fast and easy process.
I can choose from hundreds of bespoke rug designs, these range from funky contemporary through to straight laced traditional, they've even thrown in a few designs that range from post modern to the truly outrageous.
There are over 1,000 colors to add to my custom pallet. They have gone to great lengths to portray the exact colors online, depending on my display setup this will obviously differ slightly from monitor to monitor. To combat this they even offer a sample service for each bespoke color requested.
Rug making is an art and they do provide high quality custom rugs made to measure.
Look! This is the rug that I custom made which I named the sexy rug!

I LOVE getting and finding cool new fridge magnets to decorate my fridge with! Besides that, these fridge magnets bring back memories about a friend who brought me a certain fridge magnet.
Last week, I received this beautiful souvenir from a blogging friend who just came back from her recent vacation! *surprised*

This is an awesome addition to the front of my fridge, I just love it and it certainly brightens my day.
Thank you so very much LR, visiting you is always such a pleasure.

I was pretty busy with events and coffee sessions with my companions for the past few days.
Somehow I knew that I need a break in between to get myself on the go again for another week or so. Well, like people say "Laughter is the best medicine". Nothing beats a good laugh. It does help one to stay focus and keep the stress off one's shoulders. It is fast and free.
However, how I wish we have such places here where people perform some humor, sketches, parodies and skits like in some western countries. I know in the US there are places or theaters which showcase such performances. And, the amazing thing is people love it! I guess it is the best therapy if you are not the type who would love to sit down and pour your problems to a shrink. Instead you can laugh till your heart content.
Well, I came across this one site called LMAO Off-Broadway. It is a theatre showcasing hilarious interactive musical comedy revue. It is just the sort of thing that I need at this moment. This show touches all genre of life and is suitable for people from all walks of life too. Isn't that simply amazing? Perhaps people should see how things are seen or shown in a different perspective after all. And, the best thing is people get to laugh about it.

This LMAO Off-Broadway also presents some insanely hilarious spoofs on various topics created on the spot. Plus, it is not an ordinary show like any others where audiences are just spectators. LMAO Off-Broadway offers audience's participations. Meaning, the audience gets to decide the topics for every scene! I was really amazed to hear about this. I mean, how many shows out there would let the audience involve and decide on the topics of the show? None so far. But this LMAO Off-Broadway is one of a kind and seriously and hilariously one superb revue one should not miss.

A few days ago, a friend of mine told me about one of his obsessions. He said if he had a chance to own another vehicle he would get a truck. I truly understand that because he is not a small size kind of guy plus he is quite heavy, like Ralph.
Small cars would not be as accommodating as a truck. We talked about it and he had some ideas on how he plans if he ever gets his hand on one. He said he wanted it to be tough, and functional. There are lots of people who treat their trucks like a piece of junk. They just throw everything at the back of it regardless of the sizes.
Sometimes, people put ladder and heavy stuff at the back of their trucks as if it is a DIY shop or something. They are not just ugly and messy but they could also endanger other motorists on the road tailing behind them. He is very particular about this kind of people and attitude. He wants things to be proper and neat.
First he wanted his truck to be personalized with lots of fully functional and durable stuffs like spot lights, grille guard, hitches, truck racks. He said a good functional truck must have all of these options to ensure the usefulness of a truck. I said that sounds like he had to spend a lot if he ever gets one. But, he told me otherwise. There is a place online where he can get these items at the best price especially for the truck racks.
The racks are simply durable made of powder coated steel and diamond plate aluminum, easy fit, easy install and removal and the best thing is it is adjustable not rigid. Often he sees some trucks with some racks but they are just plain iron rods and welded to the truck's body. That is a really turn off for him. The site also features some other merchandises which are value for money and a must see for truck owners out there. One other plus point is they offer free shipping on some items. So, check it out fellow truckers!
