After listening to Michael Bublé’s new album "Christmas", the stunning rendition of Mariah Carey's "All I Want for Christmas Is You" is one of my favorites on this album!

Mariah Carey's version was jingly and jangly, whereas Michael Bublé’s is a slower, much more romantic and utterly dreamy.





As usual, his voice is as smooth and velvety as... a warm mug of hot chocolate!

Ages ago, I'd have died of depression if I had to stay home on a Saturday night. As time goes on, however, I'm now so domesticated that I find nothing beats home and my bed. Don't get me wrong, I'm not advocating becoming a hermit by any means but sometimes we all need a break from our busy lives and the theatrics of the weekend to shut down and re-charge the ol' batteries.

Anyway, while everyone was probably out partying the night away on one of the Saturdays, we settled in for a themed movie marathon and we ordered some pizzas! I don't usually crave pizza so much, but when I do, Canadian Pizza comes to mind.


3 Large 12'', Thin Crust Pizzas for RM59.90 (save RM55.70)


Mexican Fiesta
Ingredient: Spiced Lean Ground Beef, Onions, Red Chili, Jalapeno Peppers, Capsicum & Cheese


Seafood Delight
Ingredient: Tuna Flakes, Crabsticks, Tomatoes, Diced Pineapple & Cheese


BBQ Chicken Bonanza
Ingredient: Tender Chicken Breast, Fresh Tomatoes, Special BBQ Sauce, Capsicum, Onions & Cheese

By the looks of it, you'd think we had a pizza party! But no, all these pizzas were for Ralph and I.

We enjoyed every bite and after stuffing ourselves silly, we called it a night around 10 pm so that we could get up and be that early bird that catches the worm and destroys it, on a Sunday morning!

I have not had a bad day in a long time, but yesterday, I had a shitty day and I felt like shit... argh! Nothing bad happened, but I was in a bad mood and I rather not talk about it or bore you with the details. Yeah, we all have had bad days but I'd not have thought it was going to be a shitty day, because it was our 6th year dating anniversary!

So, what did we do to celebrate our dating anniversary that fell on a Wednesday? I fell asleep at 6 pm and if I'm not mistaken, Ralph tried to wake me up for dinner a few hours later but I was too tired to open my eyes. By the time I woke up, it was already 2 am (!!!) and he was asleep, obviously. *guilt seeping into my thoughts*

Well, we can celebrate our anniversary anytime, any day, right? We have been together for 6 years, the spark may not be all shiny and new, but with work from both sides, we keep it alive and looking forward to many more years to come!



Bear-Bear, words cannot express the gratitude I feel when I think about what you have done and I want to thank you for loving me. You gave me an awesome gift (in my favorite color as well! ) that I'll enjoy for sure. Thank You!

In the meantime, however, I'm still looking for an anniversary gift, oops! Good thing you are better at forgiving me than I'm at messing up. Happy belated anniversary, will you forgive me again?

We were pleasantly surprised to find Pavilion has transformed the Centre Court into Christmas Wonderland when we went there last Sunday for shopping, but I absolutely adore beautiful Christmas decorations!

Well, this shopping mall has never failed to wow with its innovative and beautiful decorations. However, there were always big crowds everywhere and every time I point my camera at a Christmas tree or a decoration, someone was bound to walk right in front of me.

Anyway, I'm so excited 'cause this is my favorite holiday. *counting down to Christmas!*

There are days, like today, that I don't feel like doing anything!



What can be better than a lazy day laying and swinging in a hammock like a banana, with the sound of the waves in one's ears and drink in hand?

Of course, besides tax exempted imported products that can be purchased, Tioman Island also offers a variety of activities and attractions.

Surrounded by crystal-clear azure waters filled with all sorts of underwater wonders, it comes as no surprise that the most popular activities on the island are scuba diving and snorkeling.

There are several dive operators providing a comprehensive range of diving services and courses and we saw a group of people taking scuba diving lesson while we were there.

#6 Vacationing versus living and working on an island are far different. I wondered what it is like living on an island as I watched the dive crew and scuba instructor loading those scuba tanks onto a boat.

#8 Many resorts/chalets offer snorkeling trips to nearby islands and you can easily rent a mask, fins and life jacket and wade into the water from the beach!

I envy people who can jump into the water and swim like fish. Imagine seeing brightly colored fish and ocean life inches from your face. Not only I don't know how to swim, but I also tend to panic in open water and one of my biggest fears is deep water.

#14 Because of the absence of roads on Tioman, the only way to reach all the attractions of the island is by boat. Many operators and resorts offer you the opportunity to see the highlights of Tioman in a one-day round-island tour.

If you have sea legs and prefer staying on land, you can always go for a hike and check out breathtaking waterfalls. For those with an adventurous spirit, advanced rock-climbers can attempt the full five-day climb to the top of the famous twin peaks, but only a few climbers have managed to reach the top to date!

Unfortunately, we didn't spend much time there, so we left Tioman without doing all these activities.
